Nella has investigated the opportunities for extending laying hen cycles beyond the current industry standard. Learn how this could enhance the sustainability of the industry long term!

Olajumoke Esther Omotosho

The use of hen vocalization sounds for young chicks, reared under intensive farm condition, may be a potential tool to improve and attain target growth or marketable weight within a short time, resulting from increased feed intake.

Ademola Obasanmi

Summary: The success of technology in a research environment differs significantly from its potential success in a commercial setting. A lot of factors affect the adoption of new technology in the market.
Over the last year, Ademola has been working closely with the innovators of the first-of-its kind precision feeding system and its adaptability into the Canadian Hatching Egg Industry. She seeks to answer the question of which market is a close/perfect fit for this new technology.
Some issues that would be discussed include:

1. Description of Product features and Application

2. Current market potentials of the system.

3. Recommendations for seamless adoption
