Keeping momentum through the end of the cycle – Persistency

This is the fourth and final installment of the Poultry Innovation Showcase series entitled “Start with the End in Mind”.  Dr. Korver in his final Showcase on laying hen management and nutrition will cover important aspects of persistency, including hen-day egg production, egg size, eggshell quality and maintaining sound skeletal structure.  Although grounded in the Canadian context, a look forward to what is possible with longer egg production cycles will also be discussed.
