Innovation Showcase 2.7: From research trials to field application: alternatives to antibiotics

The move away from antibiotic growth promotor (AGP) use has caused the poultry industry to seek viable alternatives to allow for the continued production of economical, sustainable, nutritious and wholesome poultry meat. In this presentation, Dr. Doug Korver from the U of A reviewed the process of developing, testing, and implementing a successful AGP replacement strategy in the poultry meat industry.
