Innovation Showcase 3.11: Controlling coccidiosis with the use of vaccines on breeders and layers

Unlike other vaccines applied at the hatchery, Coccidiosis vaccines require an additional effort from the farmer to create proper conditions to achieve effective immunization of the pullets. Missing those key factors could lead to poor vaccine cycling and delayed development of immunity, which also translates into challenges in uniformity, mortality, and future egg production. On this webinar, Felipe Silva reviewed the process of coccidiosis vaccination at the hatchery and shared farm practices targeted to full immunity development.
