The Prairie Poultry Meeting was held every year and brought together poultry researchers, students and industry from across western Canada. The meeting was an opportunity for students to practice their scientific presentation skills as well as meet other students and researchers from other universities. Researchers had the opportunity to present their research or innovative activities at their university.  The Prairie Poultry Meeting has now become the Canadian Poultry Research Forum, a national poultry science event!
